My goal was to lose weight, and to keep it off whilst eating a more healthy diet. Amy spent time in understanding my motives and current lifestyle. Using her expertise we agreed on adjustments to diet and exercise routine each week. I found the weekly check ins useful to keep me on track and was a real motivation to get me to reach my target. I was really pleased with the end result of losing weight and a reduction in my measurements. I now feel I am equipped to continue with my healthier diet. Amy has helped me improve my eating habits and make better choices. I have learned to read labels, and I cut out unhealthy snacking between meals. Along with healthier eating habits I also make sure to get out for a walk or go to the gym. Amy has provided me with great advice and encouragement. Amy tailored the training depending on goals and level of fitness. Each of us had noticeably greater muscle strength by the end of the course. She also educated us on our general nutrition and the appropriate food groups necessary before, during and after exercise. Personally this was a wealth of information while training for a triathlon. This course helped me achieve my fitness goals and I would recommend it to anybody returning to exercise or as a supplement to cardiac training.
